Riccardo Chiaramondia

Riccardo holds a bachelor’s degree in literature, linguistics and philology from University of Pavia, and a master's degree in cinema, television and multimedia production from University of Bologna. In both courses of study he developed projects related to the interconnection and mutual influence between artistic-multimedia productions and the processes of sexual liberalization, gender issues and LGBTQ+ rights, with particular insight into the processes within the pornographic industry. Riccardo has worked as journalist aimed at the dissemination of cinema focusing on feminist, queer, mental health and, in general, social awareness in unstable sociopolitical contexts. At Proxy by IWI, Riccardo uses a multidisciplinary approach to analyse feminist policies and issues presented to women in the political sphere, as well as their representation and self-representation in mass culture and art.
